Multicultural Awards

This year our Circles of Care and Connection early years refugee program was among over 200 nominees  for  British Columbia Multicultural Awards.

On November 20, as part of the celebrations of B.C.’s Multiculturalism Week,  the Government of B.C. and the Multicultural Advisory Council (MAC) hosted the British Columbia Multicultural Awards, previously known as the Provincial Nesika Awards, event. The event recognized and honoured  the multicultural accomplishments of individuals, organizations and businesses in our province.

We would like to give a big thank you to Libby Davies our Vancouver East Federal MP for providing a cake for our Canada Day celebrations and the many local businesses: IGA, G&F Financial, Destination Auto Group who supported our event with their kind donations!

A special thanks to the creativity and generosity of Anne Saint Louis who has donated the lovely design and illustrations to the Mount Pleasant Family Centre to help us promote our services.  Over the years Anne has contributed greatly to the centre including designing the logo, particpating on the Board of Directors and now as a freelance artist.
