The staff and Board are inviting you all to our annual
Canada Day Party which will be on Thursday June 30th from 10am to 2pm.
Canada will be 144 this year and we at the Family Centre won't let
that happen unnoticed :-)
Come and bring your family for a day full of fun!
If you feel like being part of a parade around Robson Park (11am),
singing 'O Canada' and have a piece of delicious Canada Day Cake while
having your face painted and being dressed in your best red-white
outfit... then this is your event of the year!Here are some of the
things to look forward to:
* the concession stand will be selling hotdogs, veggie dogs, juice,
water, chips, watermelon and fruit kebabs.($1)
* there'll be a contest for the best Canada-Day-inspired outfit
* lots of games, including a cake walk, a fishing game, basket ball, a
hockey shoot-out and a guess-the-jelly-beans game. ($1)
* and just like last year, we are also preparing lots of free musical
entertainment, face painting, a balloon artist, crafts, tattoos and so much more.
We want to thank 'Canadian Heritage - Celebrate Canada' for
