Special Event:
Holiday Party
- Tuesday December 8th,
2009!
With more then 130 families attending, a special
Christmas edition 'circle time' by D'Arcy (and Mortimer!!), lots of happy
children's faces beautifully 'decorated' with face painting and cookie
sprinkles, pretty x-mas tree crafts, free coffee and treats, lots of
amazing prizes to win, great loot bags and of course Santa as our special
guest... you could say it was a HUGE success!
A very warm thank you to all our community partners and all families who
supported this event.
We would particularly like to mention the Kivan Boys and Girls Club, the
Vancouver Public Library, Danny Lescano, D'Arcy Stainton and Vince
Ficetola (aka
'special guest').
Thank you as well to all the local businesses who made donations towards
our party and made it possible for us to provide so much fun for so many
children and their caregivers. (see list on the right)
