Between the foam craft and the face
painting, the yummy cookies and the colouring table, Santa and the
goodie tables... it seemed there was something for everyone!
Our annual Holiday party on Thursday December 9th 2010 was
attended by more then 150 families. We were very happy to see so many
familiar faces
join us to celebrate the season and we sincerely hope you all enjoyed the party!
We want to thank Naomi Steinberg
for her wonderful stories, Dustin Anderson for his fantastic
Purple Pirate
show and Earle Peach for
his appearance as our 'special guest' this year.
Warm thank you also to Chris Young for providing us with a PA system!
We would also like to take a moment to thank Save-on-Foods,
Cobs Bread, Solly's, Starbucks and JJ Bean for
their generous donations of treats and drinks for our event.
A big thank as well to Nature's Path for their fabulous donation
towards our goodie bags!
And a very warm thank you to all our members for supporting this
event; we are very touched by your kindness and generosity.
Thank you for your lovely donations of books and baked goods (with so
much attention to detail in the labels and wrapping!!) in the weeks
leading up to our event, for your support during our book-and-bake sale
weeks as well as for your contributions to our prize-draw.
Your support goes a long way in making sure the Family Centre can
continue to provide it's services to all our families in the future.
