Dear Members Wow! What can I say? These are strange times for all of us and particularly if in the past your daily routine included visiting our playroom and enjoying the good company of other parents and the wonderful personal interactions with the Family Support Workers in the Family Drop in. Since March 2020, we have reached out to as many families as we have had contact information for and we are learning a variety of new ways to show we sincerely care about the children and families in our community. While we are not experts with social media and many of us are very shy to be recorded and on display, I think the staff at the Family Centre is doing an amazing job staying connected with families and we are doing our best to fulfill our your needs and to maintain appropriate safety protocols. All of the adapted services we are now offering are listed on our website at www.mpfamilycentre.ca and I encourage you to have look – if you see something missing let us know! In addition I want to take this opportunity to promote our membership and to ask each of you to renew and then ask a friend or neighbour to become a new member! The small revenue that we gather through membership demonstrates to our funders that we are valued and essential to a happy, healthy and thriving community.
